Thursday 27 August – Visit to a Fuchsia Conservatory.
Leslie Millns’ garden has been awarded the title of “Conservatoire National des Fuchsias”.  His garden contains more than 80 rustic varieties as well as terraces containing more than 500 varieties of collecters items which include the largest selection of hybrids in France.  The non rustic fuchsias are planted out in April and stay out until the beginning of October when they return to green houses for the winter.   Subject to confirmation nearer the date, Leslie Millns will be showing you around.  Meeting at 2.30pm.  Le Jardin des Fuchsias, St Jean, Scaer.  St Jean is off the D6 direction Saint-Thurien, 1€ per member, guests 5€.
